Complimentary Initial Consultation
Every great piece of writing begins with a conversation.
All projects begin with a required, complimentary 60-minute consultation. This meeting allows us to get to know you, understand your vision, discuss the scope of your project, and determine how we can best bring your ideas to life. During your consultation, we'll explore your project's purpose, intended audience, desired tone and style, anticipated word count, and preferred timeline. We'll also discuss expectations, answer your questions, and explain our writing and collaboration process. This consultation is completely free and carries no obligation to move forward. Following our discussion, you'll receive a personalized project proposal outlining the scope of work, estimated timeline, and total investment.
Personalized Project Pricing
Your project is unique, and your pricing should reflect that.
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all packages, Lupine & Literature provides customized pricing based on three primary factors:
Type of Writing: The nature and complexity of your project, whether it's a memoir, manuscript, article, professional publication, or another form of written content.-
Turnaround Time: Your desired completion date and the amount of time available for research, writing, and revisions. Expedited timelines may require additional fees.-
Word Count: The anticipated length of your completed project and the level of work required to achieve your desired result.
All pricing is discussed transparently and agreed upon before work begins. Your personalized proposal will clearly outline the project's deliverables, payment schedule, and included revisions.
Payment Structure
To make larger writing projects more manageable while ensuring a consistent and collaborative process, all projects follow a three-stage payment schedule.
40% — Initial Deposit
A non-negotiable deposit of 40% of the total agreed-upon project fee is required before work begins. This payment secures your project and allows us to begin the research, planning, and writing process.
30% — Midpoint Payment
An additional 30% of the total project fee is due when the project reaches the 50% completion milestone. This payment must be received before work continues into the second half of the project.
30% — Final Payment
The remaining 30% of the project fee is due upon completion of the writing and revision process, before delivery of the final manuscript or completed written materials. All payment terms and project milestones will be documented in your individual service agreement.
Our Revision Policy
Your satisfaction and the authenticity of your voice are central to everything we create. Every ghostwriting project includes your choice of:
Two Rounds of Minor Edits:
Small adjustments to wording, tone, phrasing, clarity, or other limited refinements that enhance the existing work without substantially changing its structure or direction.
**OR**
One Round of Major Edits:
A more substantial revision involving changes to organization, structure, content development, or overall direction within the originally agreed-upon project scope.
These revision options are included in your quoted project fee at no additional charge. Requests for revisions beyond the included allowance, or changes that significantly expand the original scope of work, may incur additional fees. Any such costs will be discussed and approved before additional work begins.
